USER GUIDE
Troubleshoot connections and publishing
Find what to check when a connection, upload or post needs attention.
Connection problems
- No eligible account was found
- Check which platform account you signed in with and its role on the Page, channel or professional account. Review the account-type requirements. A personal profile does not grant Page access.
- The wrong profile was reused
- Switch accounts on the social platform before choosing Connect again. Keep your working connections.
- Reconnection required
- Sign in to the same platform account and authorize Crickets again. Expired or revoked platform permissions need a new authorization. Changing your Crickets password does not renew them.
- The platform says Coming soon
- This connection is not available yet. Choose an available platform for now.
- Free has no slots left
- Disconnect an account to release its slot, or upgrade to Plus. An account needing reconnection still counts.
Posting and upload problems
- Publish or Schedule is unavailable
- Select an account and check the visible warnings. You may need to choose your active Free accounts, reconnect, wait for ๐ allowance, change YouTube visibility or finish uploading media. Save a draft while you resolve the issue, where permitted.
- ๐ allowance is exhausted
- Each selected ๐ account uses one publication slot. The limit is 30 per customer per month from their signup date and time. The app shows the exact next reset in UTC. For example, an October 18 signup renews on November 18 at the same UTC time. If that day does not exist in a shorter month, renewal falls on the last day of that month. Disconnecting accounts or tagging a post deleted does not reset usage.
- YouTube upload is rejected
- Check the video requirements and reconnect your channel if upload permission has expired or been revoked. Public, Unlisted and Private are supported. Crickets preserves your chosen visibility.
- MP4 is too large
- Choose a file strictly below 10,000,000 bytes, or compress it before uploading. A file of exactly 10,000,000 bytes is rejected.
- A delivery needs review
- Check the social platform for an existing post before retrying. An unclear platform response does not prove that publication failed.
- A paused post is overdue
- Restore access or reconnect the account, then reschedule the post. Missed posts are not sent automatically.
